MICPA was first formed in 2003 as an association with the permission of the Ministry of Home Affairs. But on 30 January 2014 , it was established as a non-profit corporate entity, complete with it own memorandum of association and articles of association under certificate of ____ No.1870 by the Directiorate of Investment and Company Administration. The main objectives of MICPA are :


  1. To promote and develop the accounting profession and education to the international standards.

  2. To obtain international recognition for Myanmar professional accountants.

  3. To develop the technical competence of its members

  4. To ensure that its members strictly observe both the letter and spirit of the code of their professional ethics.
